My History

From a young age, I was interested in aviation and history, and with a particular interest in the early to mid-20th century. I really loved reading the racing aircraft of the 20s, 30s, and 40s. One day, my father; Jim Keller asked me, ‘’What ever happened to all of the warbirds that were built during World War II?”  Ever since then it has been my desire to answer that question.

Along the way, I have discovered individuals who own these warbirds, great museums like Planes of Fame and the people who make it great. People like (the late) Ed Maloney, Steve Hinton Sr. and Steve Hinton Jr., and others who have become my heroes.  And also, air shows and the Reno Air Races where I get to see history come to life.

This website is dedicated to these people, places and planes that I have discovered along my journey. I hope you enjoy what I’ve found as much as I have had bringing it to you.
